The Circle of Life

Concisely worded: Life - portrayed in a musical round trip from beginning to end and beyond.

Birth and first years: Life begins, fast growing but at the same time sheltered; demanding and then - nevertheless – slow; exciting and - but then - uniform.

Youth follows: many challenges, school, a new environment, many new social contacts; considering and marveling, but also first hard – not rarely painful – steps into life. Being fond of someone for the first time, first illusions, first disappointments, mood is changing from very high to very low and inversely. Requirements of the surrounding world increase. Frustration, aversion, joy and enthusiasm lie often close together.

We grow up. And we move foreward - on the road! The first car, the first motorcycle, and now we start speeding the road of life. Often on the fast lane, but – then as well – pausing for a moment for finding our way and for giving the proper spin to it. Relationships come - and go off at the most, or they become stronger, they develop until we are ready to cope with life by hopefully firm steps.

Relationships turn into allegiances, and in our allegiances we hear the voice: Be Family! We settle down, children appear. We have arrived on the professional path. New charges, new chances, new experiences await us. We walk forward – steadily, and so does the age of our life, too. And here is one Day in the Middle of Life.

World and family enlarge! After children grand-children arrive. Many things change, head for their zenith, either professionally or in family. The focus of our life changes; We are “Between Times”, from the middle ages to seniority, where we face new challenges.

Becoming older turns a lot in our life. The focus on work, sometimes on family fades away. Body makes its presence felt in many ways; A lot of things don´t work so simply as they did for years. On the other hand we have more leasure to discover such things which were banned for us by a lack of time or opportunity. And then – now – the moment comes where we feel, that we head Till the End of our life-way.

Pulse comes to a hold-up. The Ferryman safely conducts us to “The Isle of Eternity”. Pulse just starts beatening…
